Having worked and lived in France, Turkey, Kenya, Austria, and the USA, Karen has served as executive and team coach, consultant, university professor, and training director.
Acknowledged as a leader in leadership development and coaching, Karen serves on the faculty of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching program, was selected by the United Nations as a certified coach and leadership-training consultant, and is an international PCC credential assessor for the International Coach Federation. Karen was an organizing team member for the groundbreaking Calling in Power and Culture Summit, bringing together over 30 coach education programs to integrate and transform the dynamics of power, privilege, rank and culture in coaching.

A Georgetown University doctoral candidate focusing on the impact of culture on leaders and leadership, Karen earned her M.B.A. in International Management and Marketing from U.S. International University (Nairobi campus), her B.S. in Business Administration and French at Houghton College and the Sorbonne/University of Paris, and her certification in Coaching and Organizational Learning from Newfield Network-USA and George Mason University. Her publications focus on leadership, international management/living, coaching, and workplace diversity and inclusion.
