Welcome To The Class Of 2024

Hi Class of 2024 Fellows!  We are very excited to get to know you and to accompany you on your Academy journey.

Here is a quick summary of what’s going on:

  • You all are in the midst of the Leadership Circle Profile™ assessments and coaching process.  We are sure that it is enlightening.
  • You will begin to receive your subscriptions to the Harvard Business Review with the September/October 2023 issue. When it is available, I will email you individually to let you know how to activate the online subscription.
  • The Academy Orientation, presented by Robert Calabrese, the master facilitator for the Academy, Dana Galin, and Ilene Reid, will take place on Thursday, October 5, from 12-5 PM.  We will meet at the offices of Wiley, an Academy Host sponsor, in D.C.
    • Details for this session, as well as the pre-work, are now posted on the Session Briefing Sheets page.
    • During the orientation, you will learn who is in your smaller learning cohort group.
  • The Intro Module on Personal Brand and Professional Leadership Plans will be taught by Dana Galin and Robert Calabrese, on Wednesday, November 1, from 12-5 PM.  We will meet at the D.C. offices of Blank Rome, an Academy Champion and Host sponsor.

Over the coming months, this password-protected Fellows Portal will provide a great deal of useful information. Note that the portal will be accessible only to Fellows and Academy Steering Committee Leadership. The portal will include the following pages/features, several of which are already live:

  • Leadership Circle Profile™ Assessment Overview – this page provides a brief overview of the assessment process.
  • Class of 2024 Overview and Directory – a summary of the class demographics and listing of the Fellows for the Class of 2024.
  • You also have access to the Alum Directory, with a list of the 180+ persons who have completed the Academy program.  (I'm working on getting more of them to add the brief bios that you submitted and that are part of your listing.)
  • Session Schedule – the meeting dates for the Modules.
  • Briefing Sheets – pre-work for each session will be provided at least one month prior to the session, to allow you to complete assignments at your convenience in advance of the session. As we move through the curriculum, each previous session's Briefing Sheet and materials will be nested under the Session Briefing Sheets page.

Congratulations again, and we look forward to an exciting year.
