
Ken Pollack is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of AGNC Investment Corp.
Prior to joining AGNC Investment Corp. in 2016, Ken was Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of American Capital, Ltd. At American Capital, he served as lead counsel for American Capital’s portfolio investment activities in the areas of Real Estate, U.S. Sponsor Finance, U.S. Buyouts, International Power, Special Situations and Financial Restructuring. Ken also handled Investment Company Act, Investment Advisers Act and other compliance matters and advised American Capital on a variety of strategic initiatives, including those ultimately resulting in the formation of AGNC Investment Corp. in 2008. Ken had joined American Capital in 2004 as Vice President and Associate General Counsel. He was promoted to Deputy General Counsel in 2008 and Senior Vice President in 2013.
Prior to American Capital, Ken was an Associate in the Corporate and Securities and Real Estate Practice Groups of Arnold & Porter. In 2020, the ACC NCR awarded Ken a Chapter Service Award for his work as one of the founding members of the Leadership Academy’s Steering Committee.
Ken is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, where he is a member of the Order of the Coif, and has a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in International Relations from Tufts University. He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars.
