ACC NCR kicked off its Leadership Academy with leadership expert Rebecca Shambaugh teaching a two-day session focused on key pillars for today’s successful in-house counsel leaders.
Drawing on the in-house experience of Leadership Academy Board of Advisors members Ama Romaine, General Counsel and Head of Risk Management of The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and Dean Manson, General Counsel and Secretary of EchoStar Corporation, Rebecca engaged attendees in a robust dialogue and learning experience that focused on what it means to be an influential leader and trusted in-house advisor in today’s complex business environment. Attendees deepened their own self-awareness while learning and applying tools, proven strategies, and best practices for creating their personal leadership roadmap on such topics as: Authentic Leadership, Personal Brand, Leadership Styles, Emotional Intelligence and Executive Presence.
